Ingredients
- 1/2 lb euryale ferox nuts
- salt
- ground black pepper
- ghee (optional) or clarified butter (optional)
Recipe
- 1 place a non-stick pan on medium heat and add ghee to it.
- 2 add the makhana to this pan and start roasting them until they turn light golden brown in color and become crispy.
- 3 remove from heat.
- 4 while they are warm, sprinkle black pepper and salt.
