Ingredients
- 1 lb butter, softened
- 6 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 large egg
Recipe
- 1 cut butter into flour until it is as coarse sand.
- 2 mix everything together by hand, using your fingers til it is soft and nice.
- 3 roll or pat to 1/2" thick, and cut with cutter.
- 4 prick several times with fork tines.
- 5 bake 300° for 20-30 minutes, until just about browning.
