Banana Bread

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 overly ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup apricot, mashed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 tablespoons flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup golden raisin
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 begin by mashing bananas in a large bowl.
  • 3 add the rest of the ingredients one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  • 4 grease and flour the bottoms of 2 bread pans.
  • 5 pour mixture into bread pans and bake.
  • 6 i baked for approximately 45 minutes. start checking for doneness at about 35 minutes, and check every 5 minutes after until bread is done.
  • 7 let cool, and enjoy!
  • 8 wonderful frozen - cool completely, wrap in freezer paper, and freeze. thaw on countertop when ready to eat.
