Basil Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups basil leaves, fresh, loosely packed
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Recipe

  • 1 place basil in a food processor; pulse until chopped. add remaining ingredients and processs until blended.
  • 2 transfer to a sheet of plastic wrap and shape into a log. refrigerate up to a week or wrap securely and freeze.
