Bread & Celery Stuffing

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb herb-seasoned stuffing cubes, for prepared stuffing
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 in a large skillet, melt butter over low heat.
  • 3 turn heat up to medium.
  • 4 add celery and onion and cook until slightly soft.
  • 5 add poultry seasoning, salt and pepper and stir until well incorporated.
  • 6 add bread cubes and toss until well coated.
  • 7 add chicken broth a little at a time until stuffing is moistened but not soggy.
  • 8 pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • 9 bake for 25 - 30 minutes until cooked through and crispy on top.
