Apple Crumble With Tea Masala Spices

Ingredients

- 3 lbs apples, peeled and sliced
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup whole grain flour
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, softened
- 1/2-1 teaspoon tea masala spices, to taste (substitute all spices or ras el hanout )
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375ºf/190°c.
- 2 grease bottom and sides 10 inch square pan with butter or margarine.
- 3 distribute apples in the mold.
- 4 in bowl combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
- 5 with your hands form crumbles. sprinkle the crumbles over apples.
- 6 bake about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
- 7 serve warm with ice cream or custard.
- 8 note: you can reduce the amount of butter to ¼ of cup and add 2 tablespoons of light cream cheese.
