Celebration Chocolate Pecan Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch) pie crusts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (mini works best)

Recipe

  • 1 line pie plate with crust; set aside.
  • 2 beat eggs slightly in a small mixer bowl.
  • 3 gradually add sugar.
  • 4 add melted butter/margarine and vanilla; mix well.
  • 5 blend in cornstarch.
  • 6 stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
  • 7 pour into unbaked pie crust.
  • 8 bake at 350f for 45-50 minutes.
  • 9 cool 1 hour.
