Cheesy Green Beans

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs fresh green beans (snapped and cleaned)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash paprika (or cayenne pepper)
  • 1 -2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 pint heavy cream

Recipe

  • 1 butter baking dish (i used a 9 x 13 baking dish).
  • 2 boil water with dash of salt.
  • 3 cook green beans until tender - about 10-15 minutes.
  • 4 place green beans in baking dish.
  • 5 sprinkle salt and paprika over beans.
  • 6 add 1/2 the cheese over top of beans.
  • 7 dot with butter half of required butter.
  • 8 pour cream over beans.
  • 9 add remaining cheese and butter.
  • 10 bake at 400°f for 20 minutes.
