Blackened Skillet Shrimp

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 7 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled to last joint with tail left on
  • 1 lemon
  • garlic powder
  • worcestershire sauce
  • hot sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • red pepper
  • 1/3-2/3 cup butter or 1/3-2/3 cup margarine

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 500 degrees.
  • 2 place shrimp in black iron skillet in attractive pattern.
  • 3 squeeze lemon juice over shrimp.
  • 4 sprinkle generously with garlic powder, hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, salt, and peppers.
  • 5 pat on butter/margarine in small pieces around skillet.
  • 6 place in hot oven for 7 minutes.
  • 7 remove from oven.
  • 8 serve from skillet with hot french bread.
