Black Walnut Chocolate Kiss Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups butter, melted
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup hammons black walnut
- 1 cup hershey semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup hersheys semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons milk
- black walnut ice cream (optional)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 grease and flour a 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 1 inch jelly roll pan.
- 3 in a large mixing bowl, combine butter, cocoa, sugar, eggs and vanilla; blend well.
- 4 stir together flour, salt and baking powder.
- 5 stir into cocoa mixture until smooth.
- 6 add black walnuts and mini kisses.
- 7 spread evenly in the prepared pan and bake 25 minutes on middle oven rack.
- 8 cool before cutting.
- 9 optional: individually warm cut brownies slightly before serving.
- 10 makes 3 to 5 dozen.
- 11 topping: melt mini kisses over low heat, stirring continually.
- 12 stir in milk.
- 13 drizzle over warm brownies just before serving.
- 14 if desired, top with black walnut ice cream.
