Avocado Nut Bread

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 pre-heat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
  • 3 combine dry ingredients.
  • 4 in a separate bowl, beat together egg and avocado; stir in buttermilk.
  • 5 add the wet ingredients to the dry and blend well.
  • 6 stir in nuts.
  • 7 pour into pan and bake 50 minutes to 1 hour, until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
