Avocado Nut Bread

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
Recipe
- 1 pre-heat oven to 375°f.
- 2 grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
- 3 combine dry ingredients.
- 4 in a separate bowl, beat together egg and avocado; stir in buttermilk.
- 5 add the wet ingredients to the dry and blend well.
- 6 stir in nuts.
- 7 pour into pan and bake 50 minutes to 1 hour, until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
