Baked Spinach & Cheese

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb fresh spinach
- 1/4 lb butter
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- salt and pepper
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated (or your choice)
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Recipe
- 1 coarsely chop the spinach.
- 2 melt the butter over medium heat & when bubbly add onion& garlic.
- 3 saute for 2 minutes.
- 4 add spinach, salt & pepper.
- 5 cover & reduce heat to low steam for 3-4 minutes.
- 6 put half of the cheese into an 8" greased casserole dish.
- 7 add spinach, & nutmeg.
- 8 cover with remaining cheese.
- 9 bake in 350f for apprx 20 minutes or until cheese is browned.
