Blond Toffee Brownies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup english toffee bits or 1 cup almond brickle chips
Recipe
- 1 in a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars.
- 2 add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
- 3 combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- 4 srit in toffee bits.
- 5 spread evenly into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-in pan.
- 6 bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
- 7 cool on wore rack.
- 8 cut into bars.
- 9 enjoy!
