Blond Toffee Brownies

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup english toffee bits or 1 cup almond brickle chips

Recipe

  • 1 in a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars.
  • 2 add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  • 3 combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  • 4 srit in toffee bits.
  • 5 spread evenly into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-in pan.
  • 6 bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  • 7 cool on wore rack.
  • 8 cut into bars.
  • 9 enjoy!
