Black Walnut Banana Muffins

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3 bananas
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 2/3 cup black walnut, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 300ºf;.
  • 2 mash bananas in a medium bowl.
  • 3 add sugar, brown sugar, and eggs; mix well.
  • 4 add margarine.
  • 5 stir in flour and baking soda.
  • 6 add buttermilk and black walnuts.
  • 7 mix until just moistened.
  • 8 spoon into paper lined muffin tins.
  • 9 bake for 20 minutes.
