Brandy Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1 teaspoon real vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 mix dry ingredients and then stir them into a cup of boiling water.
  • 2 boil for 5 minutes and then add butter, brandy, and vanilla.
  • 3 serve hot over mince pie or gingerbread.
