Cheese Pocket Apple Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 lbs pastry dough, for 3 crusts
  • 8 large tart apples
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 grate cheese and spread over first pastry crust.
  • 2 place second pie shell over cheese and seal edge.
  • 3 peel, core, and slice apples.
  • 4 place over second crust.
  • 5 pour sugar mixed with flour and salt over apples.
