Cheese Puffs

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, divided
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Recipe
- 1 bring butter and water to a boil.
- 2 mix in flour and salt, stir until dough is a solid ball.
- 3 remove from stove and beat in 1 egg.
- 4 add the other egg and beat until glossy and blended.
- 5 beat in cheese and cayenne pepper.
- 6 spoon batter into a large pastry bag fitted with a large fluted tip (or spoon batter into a large zip lock bag; gather batter to one corner of the bag and cut the tip off, about the size of a dime).
- 7 dot the batter onto a greased baking tray about 1/4 inch apart.
- 8 bake at 375 degrees fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
- 9 *if you have a wheat allergy (as i do) us spelt flour or corn meal.
