Cheese Sauce

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 place 2 t butter in round 2 qt baking dish.
  • 2 cook on high 1 minute until melted.
  • 3 blend in flour, mustard, salt and pepper until smooth.
  • 4 slowly whisk in milk.
  • 5 cook on high 7 to 9 minutes, stirring several times, until mixture thickens slightly.
  • 6 all 1&1/2 c cheese and stir until melted.
