Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2/3 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2 tablespoons raisins, or to taste (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon butter, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • salt to taste

    Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 3 mins Ready Time: 8 mins

  • beat egg in a microwave-safe bowl; add 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons milk, oats, raisins, brown sugar, vanilla extract, butter, cinnamon, and salt and mix well.
  • microwave on high for 1 minute; stir and microwave for 1 minute more. stir oatmeal and microwave until cooked, about 1 minute more.
