Broccoli With Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 tablespoons wine
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • salt, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 lb broccoli floret, fresh or frozen

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, combine the butter, water, lemon juice, garlic, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  • 2 add the broccoli to the pan, stir to coat, and cover with a lid. cook for 10 to 15 minutes over medium-low heat, stirring once, until broccoli is tender but still bright green. serve warm, or refrigerate and serve cold.
