Brown Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

- 1 1/4 cups brown rice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 3 cups chicken broth, divided
- 1 teaspoon dried onion
- 1 tablespoon dried sweet pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in a skillet, add rice and crushed garlic and saute until golden brown. add 1 cup of chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- 2 combine 2 cups broth, bouillon, sweet peppers, cumin in a sauce pan. add rice,bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer,cover an cook for 50 to 55 minutes
- 3 remove from heat, let stand 5 mins and fluff.
