Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon grated nutmeg (optional)
Recipe
- 1 place the cream and butter in a saucepan and heat over medium heat.
- 2 once all the butter is melted, add the parmesan cheese. stir the cheese.
- 3 in with a whisk until it is well incorporated.
- 4 bring to a simmer and cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes.
- 5 add in the vinegar, salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if desired). stir well.
- 6 taste, and add more salt and pepper if desired.
