Banana Bread

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3/4 cup splenda granular
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup banana, the riper the better, and mashed
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees fahrenheit.
  • 2 spray a 9-by-5-inch glass loaf pan with butter-flavored cooking spray.
  • 3 in a large bowl, combine splenda sugar, unsalted butter, and eggs.
  • 4 mix well using a wire whisk.
  • 5 stir in mashed bananas.
  • 6 add flour, baking power, and baking soda.
  • 7 mix gently using a sturdy spoon.
  • 8 evenly spread batter into prepared loaf pan.
  • 9 bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • 10 place loaf pan on a wire rack and let set for 10 minutes.
  • 11 remove banana bread from pan and continue cooling on wire rack.
  • 12 cut into 8 slices.
