roasted salmon with white sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (1 1/2-pound) salmon fillet, skin removed
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup dry white
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

  • preheat an oven to 450 degrees f (230 degrees c). place the salmon fillet on a rimmed baking sheet, and season with salt.
  • bake in the preheated oven until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 15 minutes.
