Acorn Squash With Apple Stuffing

Ingredients

- 1 acorn squash
- boiling water
- 2 medium granny smith apples
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons of melted butter
- salt
Recipe
- 1 wash the squash, cut in half lengthwise,scoop out the seeds and fiber.
- 2 put in a baking pan cut side down add an half inch of boiling water.
- 3 bake at 400°f for 18-22 minutes.
- 4 peel, core and dice apples.
- 5 mix with honey and 2 tablespoons of the melted butter.
- 6 turn squash cut side up and brush with the remaining butter.
- 7 sprinkle with salt.
- 8 fill cavity with apple mixture.
- 9 cover pan with foil and continue to bake at 375°f 40 minutes or until the squash is tender.
