baked bananas with rum sauce

Ingredients

- 5 tablespoons orange juice
- 3 tablespoons dark rum
- 3 tablespoons plum jam
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 4 bananas, halved lengthwise
- 3 tablespoons chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400.
- 2 in a small pan combine orange juice, rum, plum jam, butter, lemon juice and nutmeg bring to boil, remove from heat.
- 3 place bananas in a baking dish, flat side down.
- 4 pour mixture over bananas, sprinkle with pecans.
- 5 bake 10-15 minutes until sauce is thickened.
