Butter Brickle Ice Cream

Total Time: 2 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons butter flavor extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup toffee pieces

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium sacepan, combine half & half, brown sugar, and butter.
  • 2 stir constantly over low heat.
  • 3 when mixture becomes bubbly around the edges of the pan, remove from heat.
  • 4 chill this mixture along with the bowl of your ice cream freezer.
  • 5 before freezing, add whipping cream and both extracts, mix well.
  • 6 freeze according to your ice cream maker directions.
  • 7 add toffee bits after freezing process.
