- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 4 large granny smith apples, peeled and sliced thin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons rum
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in lg.
- 2 skillet.
- 3 add sugar and lemon juice.
- 4 cook on med.
- 5 stirring constantly, until sugar melts and syrup is golden brown.
- 6 stir in apples and cook 5-6 minutes.
- 7 remove from heat, stir in rum.
