Caramel Apples In Rum Sauce

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 12 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 4 large granny smith apples, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons rum

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in lg.
  • 2 skillet.
  • 3 add sugar and lemon juice.
  • 4 cook on med.
  • 5 stirring constantly, until sugar melts and syrup is golden brown.
  • 6 stir in apples and cook 5-6 minutes.
  • 7 remove from heat, stir in rum.
