Banana Berry Toasted Almond Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 lb butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 overripe bananas
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pint raspberries, cleaned
- 1/2 cup chopped and toasted almond
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350°.
- 2 sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- 3 cream the butter with the sugar until fluffy.
- 4 beat in the eggs.
- 5 puree the bananas, sour cream and vanilla extract.
- 6 alternately add dry ingredients in 3 additions and banana mixture in 2 additions to egg mixture. beat just enough to incorporate.
- 7 add the raspberries and almonds.
- 8 spoon into greased muffin cups.
- 9 bake about 25 minutes, until puffy, brown and springy.
