Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 lbs asparagus
- boiling water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup wine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 wash asparagus and snap off ends.
- 2 lay spears in shallow pan and cover with salted boiling water to cover.
- 3 bring to a boil and simmer for 8 minutes.
- 4 drain and turn into 4 buttered ramekins.
- 5 melt butter and stir in wine.
- 6 pour over asparagus.
- 7 sprinkle with salt and pepper and cheese.
- 8 bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
