Asparagus In Wine

Total Time: 33 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 23 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs asparagus
  • boiling water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 wash asparagus and snap off ends.
  • 2 lay spears in shallow pan and cover with salted boiling water to cover.
  • 3 bring to a boil and simmer for 8 minutes.
  • 4 drain and turn into 4 buttered ramekins.
  • 5 melt butter and stir in wine.
  • 6 pour over asparagus.
  • 7 sprinkle with salt and pepper and cheese.
  • 8 bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
