Baked Corn On The Cob With Garlic Herb Butter

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 corn cobs, leaves and silks removed
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 200°c.
  • 2 remove all the husks and silks from the corn cobs.
  • 3 to make the herb & garlic butter- mix all ingredients together is a small mixing bowl.
  • 4 smear the flavoured butter over the corn cobs. wrap the corn cobs in aluminium foil and secrely seal.
  • 5 place the corn cobs on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  • 6 when cooked remove from the oven and allow to stand for 5 minutes before opening the foil to remove cooked corn. the corn will still be very hot-be careful not to burn yourself on the steam.
