Bishop's Bread

Ingredients
- 2 ounces butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk, lukewarm
- 4 ounces sugar
- 5 ounces self rising flour
- 1 cup mixed fruit
Recipe
- 1 cream butter, sugar and egg yolks.
- 2 add flour and milk gradually, alternating the wet and dry.
- 3 add chopped and mixed fruit.
- 4 fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
- 5 grease and flour a ribmould tin.
- 6 fill with mixture.
- 7 bake for 30 minutes at 350 f.
- 8 turn the oven off and leave in for another 10 minutes.
- 9 when cool, dust with icing sugar.
