- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup butter
Recipe
- 1 combine sugars,salt and milk.
- 2 cook until soft ball stage on a candy thermometer.
- 3 add pecans.
- 4 remove from fire and add vanilla and butter.
- 5 beat until stiff;drop on wax paper let sit until set and then enjoy.
