All Butter English Flapjacks

Ingredients
- 50 g butter
- 50 g light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 100 g oats
- 1 pinch salt
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 160c/325°f.
- 2 melt the butter gently in a large saucepan and add the sugar along with the syrup.
- 3 heat gently, without boiling, when the sugar has dissolved take off the heat and stir in the oats.
- 4 put the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- 5 cut into squares while still warm and leave to cool in the dish.
