Ingredients
- 1 (1/4 ounce) package yeast
- 3 tablespoons warm water
- 1 3/4 cups bread flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
Recipe
- 1 dissolve the yeast in warm water.
- 2 combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and cut in cold butter.
- 3 add the eggs and yeast and mix until smooth.
- 4 drop into greased and floured large muffin cups, approximately 3 tablespoons, and let rise until doubled in bulk.
- 5 bake in 450 degree f oven for 8 minutes.
- 6 brush with water and serve warm.
