Brioches

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (1/4 ounce) package yeast
  • 3 tablespoons warm water
  • 1 3/4 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve the yeast in warm water.
  • 2 combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and cut in cold butter.
  • 3 add the eggs and yeast and mix until smooth.
  • 4 drop into greased and floured large muffin cups, approximately 3 tablespoons, and let rise until doubled in bulk.
  • 5 bake in 450 degree f oven for 8 minutes.
  • 6 brush with water and serve warm.
