Beer Bread

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces beer, room temp
  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients except butter to form a sticky dough.
  • 2 place in greased, covered bowl.
  • 3 let rise for 1 hour.
  • 4 pour into greased loaf pan.
  • 5 smooth the top.
  • 6 bake at 350* for 60 minutes.
  • 7 brush with the melted butter the last 10 minutes of baking.
