- 2 cups sifted pastry flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon chilled shortening or 1 tablespoon butter
- 3/4 cup milk
Recipe
- 1 into 2 cups of sifted pastry flour, sift and mix one level teaspoon of salt and four level teaspoons baking powder.
- 2 chop in one level tablespoon chilled shortening or butter, wet to a stiff dough with about three-fourths cup milk or half water and half milk.
