Blue Cheese Pear Chicken

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup wine
- 2 pears, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 minced garlic cloves (use more or less if you like)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup blue cheese (original recipe calls for 1/2 cup)
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- 2 pour chicken stock and wine on top of filets.
- 3 top with sliced pears and dot with 2 tablespoons of butter.
- 4 cook on low heat for 4-5 hour or until the chicken slides off a knife.
- 5 when done, stir in the whipping cream and blue cheese simmer until cheese melts.
- 6 add salt and pepper to taste.
