Brenda's Favourite Coca Cola Bbq Sauce

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
• 1 medium onion, finely chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 bay leaf, crumbled
• 2 cups ketchup
• 6 ounces coca-cola
• 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
• 2 teaspoons spicy mustard
• 2 teaspoons vinegar, any type
• salt and pepper

Recipe

• 1 melt butter in a saucepan at med-low heat.
• 2 saute onion and garlic until soft, not brown.
• 3 add remaining ingredients.
• 4 simmer 1 hour until it is reduced to 1 1/2 cups, stirring occasionally.
