Cashew Asparagus

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup salted cashews
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 lb asparagus, rinsed and trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 in saucepan, add 1 tablespoon butter and then nuts.
  • 2 cook over medium heat stirring for 2 minutes.
  • 3 spoon to paper towels and drain.
  • 4 add to saucepan the remaining butter and cook the asparagus for 1 minute.
  • 5 add water; cover, and cook for 4 minutes.
  • 6 pour into serving dish and sprinkle with nuts.
