Chattanooga Fudge

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 unsweetened chocolate squares
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans

Recipe

  • 1 put everything except nuts and vanilla in heavy iron skillet and bring slowly to rolling boil,stirring constantly.
  • 2 when whole surface is boiling,cook 2 minutes.
  • 3 remove immediately from heat.
  • 4 add vanilla and nuts.
  • 5 cool to luke warm.
  • 6 beat until thick and creamy.
