Breakfast Scones

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 3 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • cold water

Recipe

  • 1 mix dry ingredients.
  • 2 rub in butter til crumbly.
  • 3 mix in beaten eggs.
  • 4 add enough cold water to make a soft dough.
  • 5 turn onto floured board and pat to 1 inch thickness.
  • 6 cut in rounds or squares.
  • 7 fold in half and brush with milk.
  • 8 place on greased baking sheet.
  • 9 dust each with sugar.
  • 10 bake 400f 15 minutes.
  • 11 serve hot with butter and jam.
