Charishma's X'mas Chocolate Brownies

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (110 g) cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup refined flour (maida)
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence or 2 teaspoons rum
  • 4 tablespoons walnuts, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl, mix butter and sugar together.
  • 2 add in the eggs and mix well.
  • 3 do not beat.
  • 4 in another bowl, put maida, baking powder and cocoa powder and mix well.
  • 5 gently fold the cocoa mixture into the butter mixture.
  • 6 add essence or rum followed by the nuts.
  • 7 put in a greased mould.
  • 8 bake for 30 minutes at 180 degc.
  • 9 unturn once done and serve.
