Banana Cream Pie

Total Time: 2 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • 10 inches pie shells, baked
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 large bananas

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar, flour and salt in medium saucepan.
  • 2 add eggs and beat well.
  • 3 add milk and butter. beat well.
  • 4 cook slowly until thick. let boil for 1 minute.
  • 5 add 1/2 tsp vanilla.
  • 6 when cool, pour over sliced bananas in pie crust.
  • 7 top with cool whip and banana slices if desired.
  • 8 refrigerate until ready to serve.
