Baked Fudge

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup pecans (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, beat eggs until lemon colored.
  • 2 in another bowl, place sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt.
  • 3 mix with a spoon.
  • 4 add this mixture to eggs, a little at a time, beating with a mixer.
  • 5 add butter and vanilla to above mixture; mix well.
  • 6 fold in pecans, if using.
  • 7 put mixture in a square glass baking dish.
  • 8 place dish in another larger pan filled with warm water.
  • 9 bake in a preheated 325°f oven for about 45 minutes.
  • 10 it will be custard like in the center.
