Carrots Supreme

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 6 medium carrots, cut in large matchsticks
- salt water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon powder
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
Recipe
- 1 cook carrots in salted water until tender.
- 2 drain.
- 3 meanwhile, melt butter in frying pan.
- 4 add onion.
- 5 saute until onion is soft and clear.
- 6 mix in flour.
- 7 stir in water, bouillon powder and sugar until it boils and thickens.
- 8 add carrots.
- 9 this may be kept hot or reheated in the oven.
