Asparagus - Texmex

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter (not fake stuff)
  • 1 tablespoon lime pepper seasoning
  • 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, rotel

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350f.
  • 2 snap the asparagus stem to remove the woody parts.
  • 3 place in a 8"x8" glass baking dish.
  • 4 melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  • 5 add the remaining ingredients and stir.
  • 6 pour over the asparagus.
  • 7 cover tightly with foil and marinade for 30 minutes.
  • 8 place in oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
  • 9 remove from oven and serve warm.
  • 10 cooking time includes marination.
