Anne-marie's Budget Saving Cheesie Rice

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon powdered chicken seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Recipe

  • 1 combine rice, water, and margarine in saucepan. cook, uncovered, until all of the water is absorbed and the rice has holes or pockets.
  • 2 add remaining ingredients and thoroughly stir. let cook until most of the milk is absorbed.
  • 3 serve and enjoy!
