Almond Blondies

Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter (not spread) or 6 tablespoons margarine (not spread)
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f, line a 9-in square baking pan with foil. lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray.
- 2 in a medium saucepan over very low heat, stir butter and chocolate chips until melted.
- 3 remove from heat and whisk in sugar until blended.
- 4 whisk in eggs and extract.
- 5 stir in flour and baking powder.
- 6 pour into prepared pan.
- 7 bake 20 to 25 minutes until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 8 cool completely in pan on wire rack.
