Blueberry Breakfast Bars

Ingredients
- Servings: 10
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 (21 ounce) can blueberry pie filling
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 cream sugar and butter; add eggs and vanilla.
- 2 beat well.
- 3 add flour and baking powder.
- 4 stir until blended.
- 5 spread half of the mixture onto an ungreased 15x10 baking pan.
- 6 carefully top with pie filling.
- 7 drop remaining dough on top by teaspoonfuls.
- 8 bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- 9 do not underbake.
- 10 combine powdered sugar, melted butter and lemon juice and drizzle over warm bars.
